STMM - Smart Tourniquet w/ Manometer

The SmartTourniquet lets you control the flow of blood to the legs and therefore produces high quality images that might otherwise be spoiled by venous contamination due to fast blood flow. Use of the SmartTourniquet dramatically improves the quality of peripheral MR Angiography. The SmartTourniquet is sold as a kit. The kit contains two thigh cuffs, extension tubing, manometer, five tubing sets for hand injection of contrast, and a copy of MRI: From Picture to Proton. The SmartTourniquet is compatible for use in the MR environment. There are no negative effects on MR images. It features extra long, kink-resistant extension tubing that reaches easily into the magnet allowing inflation and maintenance without removing the patient from the interior of the magnet.
