MGNT - MRI Test Magnet
Powerful Handheld Magnet for Magnetic Resonance Screening/Sites: Screen patients, devices, and implants for possible magnetic properties prior to entering MRI environment. This rare earth magnet permits loss of strength at an extremely slow rate of 1% every 100 years. Ball bearing mounts allow for ready removal of the magnet—by anyone—should it become inadvertently attached to large magnetic objects, such as oxygen tanks, wheelchairs, etc. The bright red coloring of the magnet housing clearly states that the magnet is not MR safe and should not be brought into the MR magnet room. Also included is a foam padded carrying and storage case to protect the magnet between uses.
